ABOUT US

My Story & The Legacy of Mama Lola

My spiritual journey is rooted in generations of Haitian Vodou. Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, I later migrated to the United States, establishing my roots in Brooklyn, New York, and now residing in Miami, Florida. I come from a long line of Manbo Assongwes, carrying forward the spiritual traditions and wisdom passed down through my family. My great-grandmother, Mama Lola, devoted her life to Haitian Vodou, and her legacy lives on through Mama Lola: A Vodou Priestess in Brooklyn, written by Karen McCarthy Brown. Having practiced spiritual work all my life, I am honored to continue the traditions I learned from the best.

Through Kouto file, my mission is to help those seeking spiritual guidance, readings, cleansing baths, protection, love work, mentorship, and a deeper connection with their spirits and ancestors. I also offer initiation into Haitian Vodou for those called to this sacred path. Now based in Miami, I am willing to travel worldwide to serve those in need.

In loving memory of Mama Lola: I love you, sweetheart. I pray to always honor your teachings and represent your legacy with love, dignity, and purpose. I left my country, but I never left my culture. Your legacy lives on through me.
